Prescott Golf Invitational Recap
The Prescott Golf Invitational once again delivered a perfect mix of competition, camaraderie, and memories for our Millennium girls.
Day 1 – The Scramble
The event kicked off with the always-fun Day 1 Scramble, where players from different schools are mixed together into teams. This tradition creates the perfect chance to meet new people, share laughs, and enjoy a relaxed round of golf. For our Millennium girls, it’s a lighthearted but competitive nine holes, where everyone gets to show off their skills and see who can come out on top.
While each participant usually leaves with a small gift, the true highlight is the friendships made along the way. Day 1 is all about sportsmanship, connection, and walking off the course with new friends cheering you on.
Day 2 – Championship Play
Day 2 is when the tournament gets serious. The girls play 18 holes, with the first 9 counting toward the AIA state qualifier. This is where focus, strategy, and consistency matter most.
Millennium showed up strong, finishing with an impressive team score of 318. For the third straight year, Chaparral took first place, huge congrats to them. Our Tigers proudly claimed second place for the second year in a row, showing resilience and growth. Even more exciting, two of our players finished in the Top 10 overall, and all four landed in the Top 15.
More Than Just Golf
Beyond the competition, Prescott remains a team favorite. Traveling together, sharing silly photos, and escaping the Valley heat makes this trip one the girls always look forward to. The cooler mountain weather, fresh air, and chance to bond as a team make the Invitational extra special every year.
The Prescott Invitational wasn’t just a test of golf skills – it was a weekend filled with fun, teamwork, and lasting memories. Our Millennium girls return proud of their performance and grateful for the experience.
A huge Thank you to Corona Del Sol High School for hosting this event and to all of the staff that help run the event, and lastly, Antelope Hills Golf Course.
The Brophy Invitational

Brophy Invitational Recap
This past week our Millennium Girls Golf team had the honor of competing in the Brophy Invitational, a two-day tournament with 18 holes played each day. Known for bringing together the best of the best, this was our first-ever invitation to this prestigious event, and we were beyond excited to test our game against some of the top programs in the state.
The course itself was a challenge, pushing our girls to stay focused and grind out every shot. Despite the tough conditions, the team showed grit and determination, finishing with a 3rd place our of 8 teams overall. While we know there’s always room to improve, the girls walked away proud of their performance and motivated for what’s ahead.
We want to extend a special thank you to the Brophy Golf Team for hosting and for including Millennium in this incredible tournament. We hope this becomes a yearly tradition and look forward to competing again in the future.
